The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine presented the updated Diia.Business portal, a national platform for supporting entrepreneurs. Venue: the underground parking lot of the Fairmont Kyiv hotel. The challenge: to transform it into a modern event space.
We developed the event concept and took on the transformation: stage, large LED screen, column cladding, sound, and lighting. Photo zones — including an interactive one where built-in screens displayed the updated portal in real time. A platform familiarization zone: demonstrations, consultations, and live feedback from guests. Simultaneous interpretation and sign language translation.
ConclusionWe turned an underground parking lot into a space where people got their first hands-on experience with the updated Diia.
An underground parking lot means concrete, columns, and no natural light. We built a stage, installed a large LED screen, clad the columns, and set up sound and lighting. The space was no longer a parking lot.
But the most important thing wasn't the aesthetics, it was the functionality. An interactive photo zone with built-in screens showed the portal in real time. A dedicated familiarization zone allowed guests to test new features, get consultations, and provide live feedback on the spot. Broadcast to several online channels simultaneously. Simultaneous interpretation and sign language translation.
Diia.Business wasn't just presented — it could be experienced firsthand. That is the difference between an event and a presentation.
