AheadEventOrganizing the International Conference "UA: WAR. THE UNSUNG LULLABY"
Read more about the project
UNICEF and the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine tasked us with organizing a two-day event dedicated to protecting children's rights during the war. Two days — two completely different formats under one roof.
Day one: an official international conference featuring the President of Ukraine, government officials, and international delegations. A hybrid format with simultaneous interpretation, strict protocol, and top-level security. Day two: a large-scale family event for over 200 children from across Ukraine, featuring 15 interactive zones, a music workshop, a theatrical performance, and a family picnic.

ConclusionWe hosted the event with the President during the day — and continued the children's program in a shelter during an air raid alert in the evening.
Organizing an official state-level conference and a children's festival simultaneously means managing two different projects with different logic, protocols, and requirements. We executed both at the same time, at the same location. Over 800 participants across two days. A hybrid format with online delegations. The opening of the Center for the Protection of Ukrainian Children, a documentary screening, and the presentation of the Bring Kids Back UA strategy. And an air raid alert in the middle of the children's celebration. We had a plan — and it worked. The children kept playing in the shelter. For us, that is the true measure of a team's readiness.
