Read more about the project
In December 2024, Ukraine welcomed a very special guest: Paddington Bear, a favorite of millions of children around the world. His visit was a symbolic event as part of UNICEF’s national campaign, "Ukraine for Every Child," which highlights the importance of family-based care and the need for child welfare reform. Paddington’s first stop was the Central Railway Station in Kyiv. The event, organized by UNICEF in partnership with the Coordination Center for Family-Based Care Development, brought together government officials, partner organizations, volunteers, children, and their families. The event was filled with warmth, sincerity, and care—the very values that Paddington embodies.

ConclusionThe event united participants around the values of support, resilience, and caring for one another. It served as a reminder that our collective strength is built through daily actions—small, yet meaningful.
Our team was responsible for the organizational and technical support of the event, taking care of every detail to create a comfortable and meaningful space for children and adults alike:
- Technical support (sound, lighting, and equipment)
- Decor and branded space design
- Catering for guests (including Paddington’s signature sandwiches)
- Gifts for children—branded stickers and souvenirs
Following the Kyiv event, Paddington Bear traveled to cities across Ukraine: Poltava, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Dnipro, Chernivtsi, Uzhhorod, Khmelnytskyi, and Lutsk. At each location, we were responsible for:
- Full technical support for the events
- Organizing interactive entertainment for children
- Participant logistics
- Decor and branded banners
- Guest catering
For our team, this was more than just another project. It was an example of how symbolic, heartwarming characters can be used to talk to children and adults about
